A 2 (thin) node Debian linux (3.2.0) cluster booting (DRBL) from a master file server (not shown).
This cluster is the initial phase of what promises to be an interesting experimentation in super computing. My main motivation for building it is to experiment with leading edge technology to produce a very fast and light Forex trading platform. It will be a multi-cell architecture which can scale by plugging in more nodes and flipping them on.
I will try to describe more details about the software stack used to make this run, and other uses this hardware finds itself bent to.
